Our Story – Half Moon Bay Joe’s


Pablo Oropeza Sr.’s passion for cooking began in 1973 at Joe’s of Westlake, working alongside his siblings. His love for classic Italian cuisine grew through experiences at iconic San Francisco restaurants such as Fior Di Italia, Original Joe’s #2, and Woodlake Joe’s. In 2002, he joined Half Moon Bay Joe’s, eventually making it his own. Today, Pablo continues to create beloved Old-Style Italian dishes, sharing his craft and hospitality with the community in a true family restaurant atmosphere.
